Sevilla beat Málaga 6-0 at the Estadio Antonio Toledo Sánchez and will play the Copa de Andalucía final on Sunday 16 August at 19:00, at the same ground and live on RFAFtv.
They will face Granada, who a few hours earlier had knocked out Sporting de Huelva. It is the same final as 2025, when Granada won 3-2.
Four goals before the break
Jassina Blom opened the scoring in the 9th minute and doubled it in the 40th, that one from the penalty spot.
In between, in the 18th, an own goal by Málaga defender Yoli Peche made it 2-0. Gemma Gili added the fourth in the 44th, just before the interval.
In the second half Fatou scored twice, in the 48th and the 64th.
All six goals fit into 55 minutes. The scoreline did not move in the last twenty-five.
Málaga had not conceded a goal
Héctor Díaz’s side had reached the semi-finals by beating Betis 2-0 without conceding.
Against a Liga F side they conceded six in a night.
They were also the only one of the four semi-finalists who have never won the Copa de Andalucía. They have still never even played in the final.
All four Segunda Federación clubs are out
The Copa de Andalucía splits the bracket by division. Granada and Sevilla, the two Liga F clubs, entered straight into the semi-finals; Sporting de Huelva, Córdoba, Málaga and Betis had to play an extra round and needed three wins rather than two.
None of the four got past the semi-finals.
Sunday’s final is between the two clubs that started the tournament latest, and they are the same two who played it last year. Granada, Sevilla and Betis hold two titles apiece: on Sunday, at the same ground, one of them breaks the tie.
