Update (26 August): both Spanish clubs have since announced broadcasts of their own — Real Madrid on Realmadrid TV, Real Sociedad on their YouTube channel. The text below now carries them.
Nine ties decide who joins the league phase, and there is no single place to watch them. Disney+, the European home of the Women’s Champions League, does not carry a minute of this round. So the clubs are doing it themselves, and mostly for nothing.
Chelsea v Real Sociedad: the Chelsea website and app, Real Sociedad’s YouTube
Chelsea say on the match page that their tie against Real Sociedad can be watched free on the club website and the Chelsea Official App. Kick-off is 6.45pm on Wednesday.
It is Chelsea Women’s first match at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, AFC Wimbledon’s ground, which will host their home cup and European fixtures this season while Women’s Super League home matches move to Stamford Bridge.
Real Sociedad are putting it out themselves too, on their own YouTube channel, Real Sociedad TV, from kick-off. The stream is unlisted, so the link is the way in.
Ajax v Real Madrid: Realmadrid TV, Ajax.nl, the club app and YouTube
Ajax announced on Tuesday that the first leg against Real Madrid will be shown live on Ajax.nl, the Ajax app and the club’s YouTube channel, with coverage from 7.15pm CEST for a 7.30pm kick-off at De Toekomst.
Real Madrid are showing the match themselves on Realmadrid TV, the club’s own channel — announced in their match preview on Tuesday, and again by the women’s team account on Wednesday morning.
Neither Ajax nor Chelsea say which territories their stream reaches.
Why Disney+ does not have it
Disney+ is the European home of the competition from 2025/26 to 2029/30, with all 75 matches included in a subscription. That package starts at the league phase, which this season begins on 22 September. Qualifying sits outside it.
No Spanish television has either tie. What there is, the two clubs are putting out themselves: a club channel in one case, a YouTube link in the other.

- 7pm · Eintracht Frankfurt v Paris Saint-Germain, Stadion am Brentanobad. EintrachtTV+ in Germany; PSG TV Premium in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Andorra and Monaco.
- 7pm · PSV v HB Køge, Stadion De Herdgang. No broadcast announced.
- 7pm · Czarni Sosnowiec v OH Leuven, Arena Sosnowiec. No broadcast announced.
- 8.45pm · St. Pölten v Juventus, NV Arena. Live on ORF 1, Austria’s main public channel, from 8.40pm, and streamed on ORF ON.
The round opened on Tuesday evening with Brann v Austria Wien at 6pm: VG+ Sport in Norway, and in Austria ORF ON from 5.50pm and ORF Sport+ from 6.30pm.
Austria has two clubs in this round and both are on public television, one of them on the main channel at peak time. Spain has two, and both are being shown by the clubs themselves.
The second legs, on 2 September
Real Sociedad host the second leg at Zubieta at 7pm CEST, and Real Madrid theirs at the Alfredo Di Stéfano at 8pm.
The winners go into an eighteen-team league phase. The losers drop into the second qualifying round of the Women’s Europa Cup, which is not a dead end: Häcken are in this season’s Champions League league phase because they won it. The format is set out in our guide to the competition.
