Madrid CFF have announced their second signing of the summer a day after the first.
Débora Letícia da Silva Paz, known as Bebê, arrives from Botafogo for the 2026/27 season. A midfielder, aged 22, she is the first player the club have brought in from outside Spain.
Born in Recife, she came through Ipojuca and spent time at Náutico before joining Sport, with whom she won the Pernambuco state title in 2022, earned promotion to the Série A2 and finished as the team’s leading scorer in that competition in 2023. At Botafogo she made the full journey from the under-20 side to the first team, reaching the Brasileiro A2 final and scoring in the match that sealed promotion to the top flight in 2025.
The club describe her as a player who brings talent, technical quality, directness and an eye for goal.
Her arrival comes twenty-four hours after that of Ana González, who broke almost two months of silence in the club’s transfer window.
Until this week, Madrid CFF had announced nothing but departures. Eleven members of last season’s squad will not continue. They now have two arrivals in two days, both for midfield, where Ángela Sosa and Marina Rivas were already in place.
The calendar offers no respite. Liga F begins on the weekend of 30 August and Madrid CFF open at home against Granada, little more than a month after this announcement.
The team finished ninth last season with 37 points and must rebuild almost every area of the squad.
Eleven out, two in. Madrid CFF’s window has only just begun.
