Madrid CFF sign Danish midfielder Emilie Holt as fourth summer arrival

The 19-year-old joins after spending six months at Brøndby. A Denmark Under-19 international, she is Madrid CFF’s youngest signing of the summer so far.

Madrid CFF have announced the signing of Emilie Holt for the 2026/27 season.

The 19-year-old Danish midfielder becomes the fourth addition to the club’s new-look squad, following Ana González, Débora Bebê and Kate Taylor. Madrid CFF have not disclosed the length of her contract.

Holt joins from Brøndby, having moved there from HB Køge in January. The Danish club announced at the time that she had signed until the summer of 2028, but the terms of her move to Spain just six months later have not been disclosed.

Born on 27 January 2007, Holt is an attack-minded midfielder who has represented Denmark at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level.

She is the youngest of Madrid CFF’s five signings so far. González and Holt strengthen the midfield, Bebê adds another option in attack, while New Zealand international Taylor and French centre-back Romane Lejeune reinforce the defence.

José Luis Sánchez Vera’s side will begin their Liga F campaign at home to Granada on 29 or 30 August.
