Alba Cerrato will continue her career in Italy.
Fiorentina have announced the signing of the Spanish forward on a contract until 30 June 2030. The 19-year-old arrives from Sevilla, where she came through the academy and progressed into the first team.
Cerrato leaves the Andalusian club after making more than 50 senior appearances and scoring three goals in Liga F. She made her Liga F debut in 2023 and gradually earned a greater role within the first-team squad.
Her move to Florence comes less than a month after she finished as joint top scorer at the Women’s Under-19 EURO.
Three goals at the European Championship
Cerrato scored three goals and provided one assist in her four appearances in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She shared top spot in the scoring charts with Rosalía Domínguez, Ainoa Gómez and Switzerland’s Emanuela Pfister.
Her third and final goal of the tournament opened the scoring in Spain’s 3-0 semi-final victory over Sweden. Spain then defeated Germany in the final to win their fifth consecutive Women’s Under-19 European Championship.
It was Cerrato’s third European youth title. She was also part of the Spain squads that won the Women’s Under-17 EURO in 2024 and the Women’s Under-19 EURO in 2025.
The forward now begins a new chapter in Serie A, although she could first represent Spain at another major tournament. David Aznar has included her among the 26 players who will attend a training camp from 10 to 19 August ahead of the Under-20 World Cup in Poland, which begins on 5 September.
