Sweden arrived in Zenica to wrap up the group, and that was exactly what they did. Five goals scored, zero conceded, a second consecutive match without letting the opponent breathe. The Scandinavians are now practically semi-finalists, and Group A belongs to them.
The match started with a trap. In the 14th minute, Sweden won a penalty after a foul by Mirković on Sjöström. Fanny Peterson placed the ball on the spot, but the Bosnian goalkeeper saved it. A breath of fresh air for Bosnia, a moment of doubt for the Swedes.
It lasted exactly two minutes: in the 17th, an assist from Paula Klingspor found Fabienne Bartholdson, who did not miss. The missed penalty became an anecdote.
From then on, Bosnia had no response. Filippa Andersson Widén scored the second in the 31st minute with a clean finish that rounded off a pass from Peterson — the same player who missed the penalty, redeemed — and just when Bosnia hoped to reach halftime with a manageable scoreline, Andersson Widén appeared again in the 45th+3 minute to seal the brace and bury the match before the break.
The second half was a formality managed with Scandinavian composure. Sweden did not need more, but the goals kept coming. In the 80th minute, following a corner, goalkeeper Nadija Golubović ended up putting the ball into her own net — the cruelest image of a long afternoon for Bosnia. Three minutes later, the newly introduced Agnes Ekberg put the cherry on top with the fifth.
Ten goals conceded in two games. Bosnia ends the tournament with honour — as hosts and a tough opponent in Group A — but without a single joy on the pitch. For Sweden, however, everything is in place: six points, clean sheets, and the clash against Germany on the final matchday to decide who rules the group.
