Natalia Ramos will play for Liverpool.
Costa Adeje Tenerife have confirmed that the midfielder will continue her career with the English club. The move remains subject to visa approval and the international clearance required to compete in the Women’s Super League.
Tenerife have not disclosed the length of Ramos’s contract with Liverpool or the financial terms of the deal. The midfielder had been under contract with the Spanish club until June 2027.
It will be only her second spell away from the island.
The first began in 2017, when she joined Levante alongside her sister Noelia. Natalia returned one season later and remained with Tenerife for the following eight years.
This time, she is moving to England.
249 appearances for Tenerife
Ramos joined Tenerife in the year the club was founded, when she was 14. Two seasons later, she made her top-flight debut at 16.
Apart from her season with Levante, she spent her entire career at Costa Adeje Tenerife. She made 249 official appearances, scored 23 goals and played a part in some of the most important periods in the club’s history.
She was part of the team that earned promotion to the top flight and subsequently helped establish Tenerife in the highest division.
Ramos also progressed through Spain’s youth teams. She helped Spain finish as runners-up at the Women’s Under-17 Euro and win bronze at the Under-17 World Cup in 2016. One year later, she became a Women’s Under-19 European champion.
She leaves after her best season
The move comes after the best season of Natalia Ramos’s career.
The midfielder started all 30 Liga F matches in 2025/26 and played 2,664 minutes. No other player in the competition played more.
She also scored ten goals, provided five assists and shared the Liga F lead for duels won with Ainoa Campo, recording 192.
Her performances helped Tenerife finish fourth, their best result in a 30-match Liga F season.
All of this came during her first full campaign after recovering from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee.
Ramos returned to action in March 2025 after spending eleven months out. One year after learning to feel like a footballer again, she is moving to the Women’s Super League.
Liverpool’s sixth summer signing
Ramos is set to become Liverpool’s sixth signing of the summer.
Gareth Taylor’s side have already added Vivien Endemann, Sara Agrež, Mari Ward, Khiara Keating and Mao Itamura. Liverpool are rebuilding their squad after finishing 11th in the Women’s Super League last season.
Costa Adeje Tenerife president Sergio Batista highlighted Ramos’s development within the project, from joining at 14 to establishing herself as a top-flight footballer.
Natalia leaves the club after more than a decade, 249 appearances and the best season of her career.
At 27, her next chapter will be at Liverpool.
